Pros and cons of rubber soles, and how to care for them

We know that some shoes fall apart in less than six months—does that mean the problem lies with the shoe’s quality? Actually, not necessarily. A significant factor is how well the shoes are cared for.

Why does blooming occur during the production of rubber shoe soles?

Rubber soles are characterized by their softness, excellent elasticity, and shock-absorbing properties. Rubber product manufacturers typically use natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or a combination of both with reclaimed rubber to produce rubber soles.

How much do you know about rubber shoe soles?

Rubber soles are made from rubber, and the materials used can generally be categorized as either natural rubber or synthetic rubber.

Nearly half of Malaysia’s rubber exports go to China.

Recently, Malaysia’s Department of Statistics released rubber data for September. This month, the country’s natural rubber output rose 7.2% month-on-month to 61,731 tonnes, up 28.4% year-on-year.

Look at your shoes, and you’ll know about your health! If your shoe soles look like this, consider yourself lucky.

Shoes are everyday essentials we use every day—whether they’re slippers, leather shoes, high heels, or canvas sneakers. Over time, the soles inevitably show some wear, which is perfectly normal. This usually goes unnoticed, and many people continue to wear their shoes…
